Is there a Travel Membership?

No. Travel is included as a Safe Type within the Home Membership. You can store:

  • Passports

  • Travel insurance

  • Booking confirmations

  • Itineraries

  • Emergency contacts

  • Photos of valuables taken abroad

All securely inside your Home Membership.

DNA Marking & Traceability

What is DNA marking?

DNA marking is a forensic liquid applied to tools, machinery, vehicles, livestock, and valuables. Each bottle contains a unique DNA code registered to you. Police can scan it to confirm ownership.

 

Does My Safe Docs support DNA marking?

Yes. Every safe type includes DNA fields so you can record:

  • DNA status

  • DNA type (SmartWater, SelectaDNA, etc.)

  • DNA reference code

  • Identifying marks

  • Photos of labels and markings

 

Why is DNA marking important?

DNA marking helps with:

  • Theft deterrence

  • Faster recovery of stolen items

How do I add a Tool?

  2. Enter brand, model, serial number

  3. Add photos

  4. Upload receipts or proof of purchase

  5. Add identifying marks or DNA status

How do I add a Vehicle or Van?

  1. Open Add Vehicle

  2. Enter registration, VIN, make, model, mileage

  3. Add photos

  4. Upload receipts or service history

  5. Add DNA marking details

  6. Save

 

How do I add a Room or Storage Area?

  1. Open Add Room

  2. Add photos of the room or storage area

  3. Add notes about locks, alarms, or security

  4. Save

 

How do I add a Document?

  2. Choose the document type

  3. Upload the file or photo

  4. Add notes or expiry dates

  5. Save

 

How do I add Travel Items?

How do I add Livestock?

  2. Enter tag numbers, breed, age, sex

  3. Add photos

  4. Add DNA or identifying marks

How do I add a Firearm?

  2. Enter serial number, make, model, calibre

  3. Add photos

  4. Upload certificates

  5. Save

 

How do I add Machinery or Equipment?

Account & Technical Questions

Can I access My Safe Docs on any device?

Yes — phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

 

Can I export my safes?

Yes. You can export evidence for insurers, police, or compliance checks.

 

What happens if I lose my phone or device?

Your data is safe. Simply log in from another device.

 

Do you store my payment details?

No. We do not store or process any payment card information. All payments are handled securely by Stripe, our trusted payment provider. Stripe processes all card details using fully PCI‑compliant systems.
